I have recently taken on a new additional responsibility at yet another new company. I am in the E-Business business with all that that entails like web design and development, SEO, social media marketing and–to get to the point–live streaming. Our first big project is to live stream the World Travel Awards (The “Oscars of the Travel Industry”) to be held tonight at Hacienda Tres Rios in the Riviera Maya. Our team has been working on the technical part of the live streaming in conjunction with the production company of the World Travel Awards.

The event starts this evening at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail party. Then there will be the Black Tie Dinner and Awards Presentation followed by a concert by the Village People and KC and the Sunshine Band! Live Streaming begins at 9 p.m.

(I remember when you couldn’t even find a tie in Cancun let alone a tux and now I am renting one! A tux–not a tie! And 9 p.m. is way past my bedtime but we have a saying in Spanish: Una vez al año no hace daño–once a year won’t hurt!)
